US President Donald Trump, in a call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, extended deep condolences and vowed full support to India in bringing the perpetrators to justice. “India and the United States stand together in the fight against terror,” said MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal. Trump also posted on Truth Social, expressing solidarity with the Indian people and calling the attack “deeply disturbing.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed condolences to President Droupadi Murmu and PM Modi, denouncing the “brutal crime” and assuring that the culprits will face deserved punishment. He reiterated Russia’s commitment to combat terrorism jointly with India.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed deep sorrow and stood in solidarity with the victims’ families and the Indian people. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and EU’s foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas also condemned the attack and offered condolences.
US Vice President J.D. Vance, on his maiden India visit, shared his grief, stating, “Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they mourn this horrific attack.” German, UAE, and Sri Lankan foreign ministries also expressed condemnation and unwavering support to India.
The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), claimed responsibility for the deadliest attack in the region since 2019’s Pulwama strike. Prime Minister Modi, who was on a visit to Saudi Arabia, cut short his trip and returned to New Delhi immediately following the tragedy.
The global outpouring of support underscores a unified stance against terrorism and a resolute commitment to stand with India in these testing times.
