Actress Rashmika Mandanna, known for her role in the film "Animal," is set to star opposite superstar Salman Khan in the upcoming movie "Sikander," as announced by the makers on Thursday.
Salman Khan will portray the titular character in the film, directed by A R Murugadoss, renowned for directing blockbusters like "Ghajini" and "Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty."
Scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2025, "Sikander" will be produced under Sajid Nadiadwala's banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
The production company welcomed Rashmika Mandanna on board via Instagram, expressing anticipation for the on-screen chemistry between her and Salman Khan.
In her Instagram story, Mandanna shared her excitement about joining the cast of "Sikander," expressing gratitude for the opportunity. The 28-year-old actress, known for her work in Telugu cinema with hits like "Chalo," "Geetha Govindam," and "Dear Comrade," made her Hindi film debut in Vikas Bahl's "Goodbye."
Recently seen in "Animal" opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Mandanna is eagerly awaiting the release of "Pushpa: The Rule," where she reunites with co-star Allu Arjun. Additionally, she is set to star alongside Vicky Kaushal in the film "Chaava."
With Mandanna's diverse portfolio and growing presence in Indian cinema, her collaboration with Salman Khan in "Sikander" is anticipated to be a highlight of the film.
