Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chosen by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as its leader for a third term, stated on Friday that he would strive for unanimity in all decisions of his next government. He emphasized that the NDA is an organic alliance committed to the principle of 'nation first'.

Modi declared that the next NDA government will focus on good governance, development, quality of life, and minimal interference in the lives of common citizens over the next decade. He highlighted that mutual trust is at the core of the alliance, which is committed to the principle of 'sarv pantha sambhava' (all sects are equal).

Asserting that this is the strongest coalition government in the history of coalitions, Modi said, "We have never lost. Our conduct following June 4 shows that we know how to digest victory." He criticized the opposition for their efforts to undermine the NDA's victory, stating such efforts were fruitless.

At the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, attended by leaders like N Chandrababu Naidu (TDP), Nitish Kumar (JDU), Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena), and others, Modi congratulated the victorious NDA leaders and saluted the lakhs of ground workers who ensured the alliance's success.

Modi emphasized that the NDA is not a coalition formed merely to gain power but is committed to the principle of 'nation first'. He noted that "INDI alliance" parties have already indicated their unity was only for the Lok Sabha polls, showcasing their hunger for power.

Modi stated that the NDA stands for New India, Developed India, and Aspirational India. Reflecting on the past decade, he remarked, "Our 10 years were just a trailer. We will work much harder and faster for the development of our country. People know that we will deliver."

Modi also expressed his hope that Opposition MPs would contribute to nation-building when they come to parliament. Taking a dig at the Congress, he noted their failure to secure 100 seats and their total seats over the last three elections being fewer than the BJP's tally in this election alone.
