Bharat Ratna Awardees Showcase Modi Govt's Dedication to Development: Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised the Modi government's dedication to farmers, the downtrodden, and backward communities during the Bharat Ratna ceremony where former Prime Ministers P V Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh, agriculture scientist M S Swaminathan, and former Bihar chief minister Karpoori Thakur were posthumously honored.

The Bharat Ratna recipients' family members received the awards from President Droupadi Murmu, symbolizing the nation's gratitude for their contributions. P V Narasimha Rao's son, P V Prabhakar Rao, Chaudhary Charan Singh's grandson Jayant Chaudhary, M S Swaminathan's daughter Nitya Rao, and Karpoori Thakur's son Ram Nath Thakur accepted the honors with pride and reverence.
