Animal film has achieved significant Rs 600 crore landmark

The action drama film "Animal" has achieved significant success at the worldwide box office, grossing an impressive Rs 600.67 crore, as announced by the production house T-Series on Thursday. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie premiered on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

T-Series shared the update on the film's earnings, revealing that it amassed Rs 600.67 crore in just eight days since its release. The production house expressed the film's ongoing triumph with the caption, "The Blockbuster’s Triumph continues."

Despite its commercial success, "Animal" has faced criticism from some quarters for being perceived as misogynistic and excessively violent. The pan-India movie, holding an A certificate from the CBFC, boasts a star-studded cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra.

The narrative of "Animal" unfolds in a violent world, portraying the tumultuous relationship between the protagonist, Ranvijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor), and his father, Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor).

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, along with Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures, "Animal" continues to run successfully in theaters, marking its triumph amidst both acclaim and controversy.
