US Prez extends full support to Israel in its war against terror

US Prez extends full support to Israel in its war against terror

US President Joe Biden has lent support to Israel's assertion that the attack on a Gaza hospital, resulting in hundreds of casualties and escalating tensions in the Middle East, was the work of militants. Speaking to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu upon his arrival in Tel Aviv, President Biden expressed his deep sorrow and outrage over the hospital explosion. He stated, "I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday. And based on what I've seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team."

President Biden's visit to Israel, which began on Wednesday, was primarily to demonstrate solidarity and engage in discussions regarding the ongoing Gaza conflict. Upon landing in Tel Aviv, he warmly greeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.

In a joint address with Netanyahu shortly after his arrival, President Biden reiterated his strong support for Israel in its campaign against Hamas. The conflict arose as a response to a series of cross-border attacks by Hamas on October 7, resulting in the tragic loss of 1,400 lives.

"I wanted to be here today for a simple reason: I want the people of Israel, and people around the world, to know where the United States stands," Biden emphasized, underscoring the unwavering commitment of the United States to stand with Israel during these challenging times.
