The Election Commission complied with a Supreme Court directive, making electoral bond data public on March 15, following receipt from the State Bank of India on March 12. The data is split into two sections, detailing buyers and redeemers of electoral bonds.

According to the disclosed information, buyers of electoral bonds include prominent entities such as Grasim Industries, Megha Engineering, Piramal Enterprises, and Bharti Airtel. Meanwhile, parties redeeming electoral bonds encompass a wide spectrum including BJP, Congress, AIADMK, and Shiv Sena among others.

This move follows a significant Supreme Court ruling on February 15, which deemed the electoral bonds scheme unconstitutional due to its allowance of anonymous political funding. The court mandated the disclosure of donors, donation amounts, and recipients, prompting the Election Commission's action in transparency.
