A business networking event and Pride of India Award was organized under the aegis of Indo American Business Chamber of SMEs in which Mr. Robert Masih Nahar, Member of Parliament of Spain and Mr. Kanwarjit Dhanjal, Director of Brampton Board of Trade in Canada and Mrs. Meenu Ghosh, a well-known corporate personality were honored with the Pride of India Award.

This program was organized in the auditorium of Malviya Smriti Bhavan, in which the Hon'ble Speaker of the Orissa Legislative Assembly, Mr. Suryanarayana Patra and MP and former Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Shiv Pratap Shukla were addressed as the chief guest.

The program mainly discussed on promoting business and cultural ties between India, America, Canada and Spain. In the program, Senior Vice President of Reliance Industries Mr. Sandeep Ghosh, Lieutenant General of Indian Army, Mr. RK Anand, Lt. General Mr. Ved Chaturvedi, National President of Vaish Mahasabha,  Ontario State Trade Commissioner Mr. Kapil Malhotra, Air Canada India Chief Mr. Gaurav Mehta, Senior BJP leader Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, Bhiwadi Chamber of Commerce Head Mr. Ram Narayan Singh, Sanjay Nagi, Senior Advocate of Supreme Court and Director of the Chamber Mr. Vivek Goel, Treasurer Mr. Vishnu Agarwal, etc. expressed their views.

The vote of thanks in the program was proposed by the General Secretary Shri Sudhir Halwasia. The meeting was also addressed by the three honored guests, in which they advised the businessmen of India to increase business with Spain and Canada and presented themselves for any kind of help.
