Lord Shree Ram is back at his birth place - Ayodhya

Today, the Ayodhya temple unveiled the 51-inch Ram Lalla idol, adorned with gold and flowers, just ahead of the grand 'pran pratistha' ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leading the consecration, offered prayers in the sanctum sanctorum, accompanied by saints and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. The idol, sculpted from black stone by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, had been veiled in anticipation of the ceremony.

The 51-inch idol, symbolizing a five-year-old Ram, now graces the ground floor of the newly constructed temple. Awaiting future construction, the first floor will feature the idols of Raja Ram, Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman.

The unveiling marks a significant moment in the ongoing consecration rituals that commenced on January 16, culminating in today's 'pran pratistha.' Prime Minister Modi, alongside spiritual leaders, participated in the sacred ceremony, emphasizing the cultural and religious importance of the event.

The temple, characterized by its traditional Nagara style, stands as a testament to the historical and spiritual significance attached to the Ram Janmbhoomi. The presence of revered figures and dignitaries underscores the collective celebration of this momentous occasion in Ayodhya's rich cultural tapestry.
