Pakistan May Lose Geographical Identity: Army Chief

Pakistan May Lose Geographical Identity: Army Chief

In a most fierce salvo, India has issued a stern warning to Pakistan: stop supporting terrorism or risk losing your place on the world map. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, speaking at an Army post in Rajasthan's Anupgarh, declared that India will no longer exercise restraint if Pakistan continues state-sponsored terrorism.

“This time, we will not show the restraint we had during Operation Sindoor 1.0,” General Dwivedi warned. “We will act in a way that forces Pakistan to reconsider whether it wants to retain its geographical presence.”

The warning follows revelations by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh that India shot down five Pakistani fighter jets, including F-16s and JF-17s, during Operation Sindoor in May. The operation targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK following a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam.

India used precision long-range strikes, avoiding civilian and military casualties while destroying terror hideouts and training centres. A ceasefire was reached on May 10 after Pakistani commanders sought an end to hostilities.

General Dwivedi told soldiers to remain ready: “If God wills, you’ll get an opportunity soon.” He added that India provided global evidence of the operation’s success, ensuring transparency and countering Pakistan's denials.
