India will Combat Piracy, Terrorism In Indian Ocean: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India's dedication to upholding freedom of navigation and combating piracy and terrorism in the Indian Ocean region. His statement came following a message from Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, thanking India for the safe return of seven Bulgarian nationals.

On a prior occasion, President Radev expressed his gratitude to the Indian Navy for their successful rescue operation of the hijacked Bulgarian ship, MV Ruen.

PM Modi expressed gratitude for President Radev's message and assured him of India's contentment in ensuring the safety of the seven Bulgarian nationals who would soon be reunited with their families.

In a social media post, PM Modi conveyed, "Appreciate your message President @PresidentOfBg. We are happy that 7 Bulgarian nationals are safe and will be returning home soon. India is committed to protecting freedom of navigation and combating piracy and terrorism in the Indian Ocean region."
