Head over to the Parsi speciality restaurant Soda Bottle Opener Wala, to celebrate Navroz with a speal meal packaging the true flavours of the Parsi cuisine
The Bhonu includes a specially-curated menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for the feast. The Vegetarian Bhonu comprises of Saria, Sprouted kachumber salad, Gajar nu aachar, Papeta papti nu shak, Vegetable cheese pattice and Masala ni daal. The Non-vegetarian fare on the other hand has Chicken pattice, Prawns patio, Mutton masala and Dal. The recipes have been passed down from one generation to the next in every Parsi household.
But it is the sweetness spread around by the Falooda that has people queuing up for more. Of course, there is another Parsi speciality that most people are familiar with, Laganu custard, that rounds of the dessert section. There is also bottomless Sangria and cocktails, to ensure that this a Navroz party that does not end.
