General Bipin Rawat, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, Chief of Army Staff, visited the NCC Republic Day Camp 2019 at the DGNCC Camp yesterday. Lieutenant General PP Malhotra, VSM. A contingent of all the three wings namely Army, Navy and Air Force presented a ‘Guard of Honour’ to the Chief of Army Staff on his arrival and the NCC cadets thereafter presented a fine band display. The COAS also visited the ‘Flag Area’, depicting various social awareness themes and cultural activities.
NIFTEM HOSTS ANVESHan 2019 from Jan 16-17
The prestigious event for research students—Anveshan 2019, is taking place at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) on January 16 and 17. This is an initiative of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, which aims to promote the talent in research throughout the country and nurture it through specialised training and education in some of the nationally and internationally reputed premier institutions of higher learning in India. The FSSAI chairperson Rita Teotia, was the chief guest of the inaugural session along with other dignitaries while the vice chancellor of NIFTEM, Dr C Vasudevappa, is presiding over the function.
