Amitabh Bachchan Wants his New Generation Co-Stars to educate him in Qualities he Lackby Opinion Express June 7, 2018 0 comments
Amitabh Bachchan, one of the busiest actors in Bollywood, wants his co-stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to educate him in qualities he lack, for his next film – Brahmastra.
“Sleep induced, sleep deprived yet alive to be here and leave soon for the preparation for tomorrow… fresh new film Brahmastra. The entire day was spent battling with the look for the film .. it is a tedious job, sticking removing applying de applying and applying again, until some decision is reached,” said Bachchan.
The 75-year-old star said that he appreciates the “meticulous planning” of the film’s director Ayan Mukerji and the production.
‘I’m happy that Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran has been well- received. It’s a story we couldn’t wait to share with the audience as it’s a matter of great pride for every Indian. The best feeling is the film being appreciated and the positive word of mouth that it has garnered is testament to that.’

Actress Katrina Kaif is a huge crowd puller at the Dabangg tour and is never the one to disappoint fans. Inside sources reveal that the star has a surprise in store for her fans and is preparing for a different kind of act for the US and Canadian leg of the tour. Adds the source, “Katrina is extremely hard working and is always game for experimentation. For the Dabangg tour in Canada and the US she is planning a special live acrobatic act, which requires a lot of focus and also requires her to work on her flexibility.”
‘I almost quit acting over sexism’
Actress SANDRA BULLOCK says sexism in Hollywood made her think about quitting acting altogether. “My career has been a domino effect of people who said, ‘I would like this person to fill this role’,” Bullock said.
“And not just in the industry, but people in my life. My mother raised me like, ‘You don’t need to get married, you forge your own path. You make your own money, and be your own person’. And I literally went out into the world thinking there was no disparity, that everyone was equal, and I can do whatever a man can do.”
It wasn’t until later in her career that Bullock had a “wake-up moment”.
“I was like, ‘What is this feeling? Why do I feel so (expletive)?’ Oh, my God, I’m being treated this way because I have a vagina’.”
Bullock did not get into specifics about the sexist behaviour she was subjected to, though she said it had a lasting effect.
