Terror strikes at Colombo SriLanka: 300 persons are reported dead

Religious festival Easter celebrations brought sorrow for the people of Sri Lanka. The local police is suspecting hand of international forces to destabilize the nation. Two more blasts were reported in the past hour in Sri Lanka. The 7th blast was reportedly at a hotel opposite Dehiwala zoo near Colombo in Sri Lanka. The eighth blast has been reported from Demetagoda in Sri Lanka. More than 160 people have been killed and over 400 were injured. This is the deadliest terror attack on Sri Lankan soil till date.


Indian PM Narendra Modi has expressed sorrow for the loss.


However, Sri Lanka’s police chief had made a nationwide alert anticipating radical Islamic National Thowheeth Jama’ath planning to set up the terror plot. There was the threat that Churches and Indian High Commission in Colombo is likely to be attacked. .
