At the annual Vijayadasahmi rally in Nagpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized that India has gained strength and international respect in recent years, but warned of ongoing conspiracies aiming to destabilize the country. He highlighted concerns about a narrative being promoted in Bangladesh, portraying India as a threat and suggesting an alliance with Pakistan for defense. This rhetoric, he said, undermines regional stability.
Bhagwat urged Indians to remain firm in both personal and national character, stating that strength lies in unity and righteousness, irrespective of challenges. He expressed concern over the rise of fundamentalism in Bangladesh, where minorities, particularly Hindus, face persecution. He stressed the need for Hindus to stay united to resist such oppression.
Commenting on India’s evolving global stature, he noted that while India’s credibility and influence have grown, external and internal conspiracies are testing the nation’s resolve. Bhagwat also condemned the recent Hamas-Israel conflict, highlighting its potential for wider regional destabilization.
He praised the peaceful conduct of recent elections in Jammu and Kashmir, crediting the people, government, and administration for strengthening India’s global position. However, he criticized divisiveness in Indian politics, claiming that selfish interests have overtaken national pride and harmony.
Bhagwat further condemned the Kolkata rape-murder case, criticizing attempts to shield the perpetrators and decrying the dangerous nexus between crime, politics, and culture. He concluded by calling out the spread of "wokeism" and "cultural Marxism" as threats to India’s traditions, urging the public to focus on national integrity above political competition.
