Kaala, starring Rajinikanth, has released this Thursday with fans going on to welcome Thalaivar. Even Bollywood star Aamir Khan wants to see the film.
Have always been a huge Rajni fan, can’t wait to watch Kaala,” he tweeted. Aamir and Rajinikanth have featured together in the 1995 film Aatank Hi Aatank. As per a few reports, the film garnered one of the lowest occupancies ever for a Rajini film. While it has already made a neat Rs 230 crore from satellite and music rights, it still needs to earn Rs 280 crore to be called a hit. Kaala has been directed by Pa Ranjith who also helmed Kabali. The film also stars Nana Patekar, Easwari Rao and Huma Qureshi in key roles.
‘I am ageing backwards. I am telling you in my early 20s, I used to make TV series on “saas-bahu” sagas, and now I am making so many youth shows on the digital platform. This is the medium that serves content for every age group with a different taste. That is how entertainment should be’

Actress Alia Bhatt recently shot for StarPlus’ latest brand film where she met her new jamming buddy and her little fan, Kullfi (played by Aakriti Sharma) who is known to create songs from any tune that she hears. Kullfi sang her favourite Pet Bichara song as she greeted the actress. Alia, who loves to sing too, decided to create a new song with the little one. The two created a completely new song keeping Kullfi’s background tune in mind and the new brand film song, Rishta Wahi, Baat Nayi.
Jeremy broke his arms during shoot
Actor Jeremy Renner has opened up about his accident on the sets of the film Tag which resulted in him breaking both his arms. “I broke along with it and fell on the ground and broke my arms,” Renner said, adding he once again attempted the stunt never suspecting that he had sustained an injury.
“Then I realised, I think something’s wrong, so I went to the hospital, and they said it was broken, so I got them wrapped up and then I went back to work and did everything I could do to continue on as we did,” said Renner.
“I couldn’t rotate my hands but I could move my arms up and down kind of like a robot, but I would do anything that didn’t hurt essentially.”
