Under pressure, KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 64, supported by a crucial knock from Hardik Pandya enabling India to defeat Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the second ODI at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday. With the win, India secured an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series between the sides. India had won the first game by 67 runs.
At Kolkotta, India did lose 4 quick wickets at regular intervals in their chase of 216 but a low target meant they were always in the driver's seat. Earlier, three-wicket hauls each from chinaman Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj helped Team India to bundle out Sri Lanka for 215.
