Fitness Tips by Bollywood Actress Parineeti ChopraParineeti  Chopra advises her fans that hitting the gym can be boring but varying your workouts can help you to stay fit and healthy.

Parineeti Chopra, the chirpy and bubbly actress, has been no stranger to body-shaming. But now in her sculpted avatar, she tells us that it is all about becoming a morning person that changed not only her appearance but most importantly her attitude towards life.

The 29-year-old actress made her debut in 2012 but soon after faced criticism due to her size. So when she resurfaced in the public eye with her new avatar during the IIFA Awards in 2015, she became an instant role model for holistic fitness.

Being one of the few actors to talk about their body shaming experience, Parineeti said she used to have a tough time feeling good about herself as she was  constantly criticised for the way she looked. But now that she’s in shape, she wants to inspire all her fans to get fit and live a healthy life. At an event, the actress said, “To keep myself motivated to work out, I see pictures of myself in which I look fit and I say, ‘Wow, I can look like that.’ Those pictures motivate me to run to the gym immediately. I think it’s a really good idea and everyone should try that out”.

Just like an ordinary person, the Ishaqzaade actress is a big foodie. But to keep herself fit, she says, “I keep my diet real. I believe that everyone should eat whatever they feel like but just balance it with your quota of working out. One can’t keep eating junk and stay fit doing nothing. That does not mean that you can’t have a cheat day. Keep it real! Four days ago, I ate a pizza but ever since I’ve been burning extra calories.”

Like many others, Parineeti hates hitting the gym and finds it extremely boring. “You don’t need to do elaborate things to get fit, just eat well and work out. For those who don’t like to going to the gym like me, I have started varying my routines like doing aqua workouts. They’re fun and different. So find your own diversion,” she advises.

The now fitness enthusiast and certified scubadiver suggests that everyone should try different sports such as swimming or scuba-diving to feel good and keep the adrenaline going.  Ready to hit the screens with her Namaste England, alongside Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti hopes to inspire her fans and spread awareness about body positivity.
