Congress promotes dynastic politics: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a rally held in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party. He asserted that the Congress and development cannot coexist and accused the party of perpetuating "parivarvaad" (dynastic politics), nepotism, and corruption.

Modi criticized the Bhupesh Baghel-led government in Chhattisgarh, claiming that those who had plundered the state would face consequences. He alleged that Congress had betrayed the youth of Chhattisgarh by failing to fulfill their promises and engaging in corruption during government job recruitments. He accused the Congress of using the state's Public Service Commission for their own interests, appointing their children and relatives.

The Prime Minister emphasized that nepotism and corruption had long been the policy and tradition of the Congress party. He promised that his government would ensure that those who had looted the state would be held accountable for their actions.

Modi highlighted the historic decision of making a tribal woman, President Droupadi Murmu, a member of a tribal family, which was met with opposition from Congress. He urged the tribal community to remember this insult and seek revenge from Congress.

The PM criticized the Congress's five-year rule in Chhattisgarh, pointing out the increase in leaders' privileges while the poor did not benefit. He concluded by reiterating the BJP's commitment to bringing Chhattisgarh to the forefront of Indian states and safeguarding the interests of the underprivileged, tribals, and backward communities, emphasizing that development could not occur under the Congress's governance.
