Cong-JMM hits majority mark in Jharkhand Assembly pollsby OPINIONEXPRESS.IN December 23, 2019 0 comments
It is yet another loss to BJP at the state level. The JMM-Congress alliance has managed to take a lead in 41 seats in Jharkhand. While Chief Minister Raghubar Das is leading from Jamshedpur East, the gatbandhan’s CM candidate Hemant Soren is trailing from Dumka. Coming on the back of below-par performances in Haryana and the failure to stay in government in Maharashtra, the results of the Jharkhand Assembly elections will be crucial for the ruling BJP. Raghubar Das, the first Jharkhand CM to complete five years in office, faces anti-incumbency, rural distress, economic slow down, resentment over lack of jobs and even a divide within over the choice of poll candidates.
Modi Shah combo must develop mechanism to promote competent leaders in Center and states because India is too large to be governed by proxy dummy leadership. The governance is suffering in center and state because the popular and competent leaders are deliberately ignored by Modi Shah and the sanctity of cabinet in government, parliamentary board in the party organisation is compromised by them. In the last two years, the spread of BJP is reduced from 70% to 35% pan India.
And the reverses are due to economic mismanagement, a competent finance minister is missing since 2014 but will they listen??
