Speaking to the minority community at a meeting in New Delhi, the Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, said that the present BJP-led government has been working steadily for an all-round development of the country.

He said, “Today, every needy of the society has become an equal partner of the development process. The Modi Government has done record development work, breaking all the barriers of cast, region and religion. Inclusive growth is ‘rashtra niti’ and safety and prosperity of India and its citizens is the ‘raj dharma’ of the BJP. We are taking the country forward on the path of becoming ‘vishwa guru’.”

Sharing statistics with the attendees, Naqvi informed that during the last four and a half years, 328,000,000 bank accounts have been opened under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana; 141,600,000 loans worth Rs 6 lakh crore have been given under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana; 86,700,000 toilets have been built under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and 158,700,000 soil health cards have been distributed.

“Five crore and 58 lakh free, LPG gas connection have been distributed among the poor people. In just month’s time, almost three lakh needy and poor people have been given medical facilities under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, since its inception. The needy, poor and the backward sections including the minorities have been benefited the most from these welfare schemes,” added Naqvi.
